Your role:

You will produce new business sales revenue from a software license (SaaS) and managed service model. You will accomplish this through account planning, researching prospect customers, and completing field-based sales activities such as prospect presentations, RFQ´s/RFPs, contractual negotiations until deal closing and beyond. Leads will be generated for you by our excellent Sales Development Team – own developed leads are always seen positive.

  • Develop relationships with multiple personas (e.g., CFO, CIO, Head of IT, Head of Infrastructure, Head of SAM, Head of ITSM, other ITAM roles) across all products
  • Be a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their needs and challenges and advising on how USU can help them
  • By understanding the prospect´s challenges and needs you will orchestrate an account strategy across a broad virtual team (Sales Engineers, Consultants, Sales Management, Partners and Marketing, etc.)
  • Identify the right specialist/ support resources to bring into a deal, at the right time
  • USU Sales Training Academy will improve your SAM & Sales knowledge to help you close deals

Your Qualifications:

We are looking from Entry/Junior Level to experienced Senior Sales Managers. To be successful in this role you should have several of the below qualifications:

  • 0 to 5 years of sales experience within software OR solutions sales organization
  • Experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams
  • SAM/ITSM/License Management knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to produce new business, negotiate deals, close deals and maintain healthy customer relationships
  • Successful track record achieving sales targets is a plus
  • The ability to understand the "bigger picture" as well as interests of individual stakeholders of prospects
  • We are looking for a team player – who knows sales cannot win alone
  • German and English at least C1 level – French/Spanish is a plus
