Wencke Schmidt's professional career has been shaped by the cloud and the new opportunities that technology and digitization offer companies. Since the beginning of 2022, Wencke has headed the sales organization for German SMEs at Google Cloud with the declared aim of driving forward digitization in German SMEs. In addition to innovative transformation projects in the cloud, her work also focuses on expanding the partner ecosystem for SMEs. Previously, as Head of Retail at Google Cloud she supported retail companies since 2016 in launching and implementing their cloud strategy to develop new and innovative business models. Prior to Google, she spent more than six years at Microsoft supporting companies from various industries on their path to digital transformation.
