As part of the IT Summit Germany on June 26, 2025, Dr. Benjamin Strehl, CEO of USU GmbH, will be recognized as a “Distinguished Innovator.” This award, presented by the United Innovations initiative, honors outstanding personalities who excel through their innovative strength, knowledge transfer, and forward-thinking contributions to science, technology, and society.
The award ceremony will take place during the session "Increasing Innovative Strength Within the DACH-Region", at the “Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau” (KfW) headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. Dr. Strehl is being recognized as a thought leader and pioneer who is breaking new ground and shaping the future site for innovation. In his presentation, “USU - Smart Innovations Made in Germany” as part of the discussion session, Dr. Strehl provides insights into USU's innovation strategy and explains the interaction between innovation and AI showing specific use cases.
The IT Summit Germany has become a key meeting point for technology leaders, innovators and cybersecurity experts. With around 400 participants, the event offers exciting insights into the latest developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, software engineering and digital security.
For many years, Dr. Strehl has been deeply engaged with innovation management—both academically and entrepreneurially. He earned his doctorate from the University of Leipzig with a dissertation on “Innovation Management in Service Centers”. His guiding principle: “Innovative strength determines future success.”
As CEO of USU GmbH, Dr. Strehl is responsible for developing and governing the company’s strategy and achieving acquisitional growth within the USU Group.
