Your Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources (SaaS platforms, ERP, CRM, databases).
- Develop and manage data models in cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliability and accuracy of data.
- Collaborate with analysts and BI developers to optimise data structures for reporting and dashboarding.
- Integrate data from platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other SaaS/operational systems.
- Maintain and improve data orchestration using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and support data lineage documentation.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to a modern data stack strategy.
What you bring:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).
- Experience building and maintaining ELT pipelines with tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, or custom solutions.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Workato, Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
- Understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, data vault, or similar).
- Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms via APIs or native connectors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub).
- Knowledge of data from CRM (Salesforce) or ERP (NetSuite) systems.
- Exposure to DataOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
