Aspera customer, Thyssenkrupp wins SAMS Award 2020

Aachen, Germany, March 11, 2020 – At the SAMS 2020, we.Connect presented the 8th annual SAMS Award for Excellence in Implementing Software Asset & License Management Strategies. For their project, “Integrated Lifecycle Management for Corporate-Wide Microsoft ‘Full Cloud’ Contract”, thyssenkrupp earned second place at this year’s SAMS Awards. Under the leadership of Dr. Marcus Jütte, thyssenkrupp successfully implemented a unified ruleset for Microsoft Office 365 Services and instituted user-based licenses across the entire corporation in just six months, resulting in significant cost reductions.
